Product description Constructed from sturdy aluminum, the 8.6' Premium Light Stand from Studio Essentials rises to a maximum height of 8.6', folds down to 31.75", and can support equipment weighing up to 11 lb. The stand features metal locking collars, a wide footprint for stability, and air-cushioning that gently lowers your gear during height adjustments. - Metal Locking Collars
- Traditional lightweight stands use plastic locking collars to save cost and weight. Studio Essentials Premium Light Stands use solid metal collars for added strength and security. Metal locking collars will also support more weight than plastic collars, making them better-suited for larger lights and modifiers.
