Product description Designed and developed in Germany, the black ROTABALL-TPH Harness with Backpack from Sun-Sniper offers a comfortable and inspired method of carrying an up to 17" laptop and two Rotaball camera straps. Wide, padded shoulder straps suspend a camera on each side of the wearer's body. These two cameras are attached to Rotaball connectors that screw into the camera tripod socket. The beauty of the Rotaball is that it utilizes a multi-ball bearing to permit free swiveling of your camera. Included Blokkers offer peace of mind by preventing the Rotaballs from accidentally unscrewing.
A separate backpack snaps onto the harness and is useful for storing and transporting gear and accessories. The pack has room for an up to 17" laptop and is designed with airline carry-on travel in mind. Of course, it's always prudent to check with your carrier prior to departure for their specific requirements. In addition, the case features two zippered pockets on the front, a side pocket for small items such as memory cards and cables, a second side pocket with mesh for a water bottle, a top handle, and separate compartments for holding the harness and cameras. The harness is recommended for equipment loads up to 11 lb. The harness has a connector from which a third camera may be suspended. This camera is attached with the strap lugs, and not a tripod screw.
Photographers on long shoots will appreciate the spine-relieving, built-in shock absorbers, as well as the Limiters that prevent the camera from swinging too far back while moving quickly. Ergonomic shoulder pads contribute to increased comfort, too. Perhaps best of all, the harness has invisible built-in steel cables, called Cutter-Crashers, to foil cut-and-dash thieves. To back up this feature, the manufacturer includes an exclusive insurance of up to 1,000 euro if a thief manages to cut the strap and get away with gear.
