Product description Time-Lapse Tips and Tools Read More This Sunpak Tripod Kit includes a 6640LX tripod with a three-way, pan-and-tilt head, plus a FlexPodDX tabletop tripod. With the FlexPodDX tabletop tripod, small cameras or accessories can be quickly positioned while the 6640LX tripod provides the ability to more precisely angle larger cameras, lenses, or sport optics toward your subject.
The Sunpak 6640LX Tripod with 3-Way, Pan-and-Tilt Head supports up to 10 lb and measures 21" when folded. Its 4-section legs each feature flip locks for fast deployment and can be positioned for a minimum height of 19.5" to a maximum height of 56", or 66" with its column fully raised. The column utilizes a geared movement for precise height adjustments and an integrated center brace allows the legs to be spread simultaneously as well as uniformly. The center brace helps to hold the legs in place, which include rubber feet to further enhance stability on a wide variety of surfaces.
Cameras, lenses, or sport optics that are compatible with a 1/4"-20 mount can be connected to the quick release plate, which is secured to the tripod's pan-and-tilt head using a cam lock. The head can be rotated 360°, and tilted 90° backwards or forwards, as well as sideways for portrait orientation. Each of these three movements function independently of each other and can be locked into place.
The included FlexPodDX Tabletop Tripod supports up to 2.2 lb, and measures 6.9" when folded. Its legs each feature an independent spread and when fully splayed, provide a height of 5.3". To enhance stability on a wide variety of surfaces, rubber feet are included at the end of each leg.
A 1/4"-20 screw can be found atop the tripod's built-in ball head. The ball head rotates 360°, provides up to a 90° tilt for portrait orientation, and can be locked into place along its range of movement. 6640LX Tripod with 3-Way, Pan-and-Tilt Head - Use and Handling
