Variable leg angles allow the tripod to adjust to uneven terrain and go to a minimum height of 17.8", or 9.4" with an optional short center. The ball head is Arca-type compatible, and because of a load capacity of 27.2 lb, the tripod can easily manage a DSLR with a telephoto lens to a medium format sized camera. The center column is completely detachable from the tripod, and it can convert to a 60.8" tall monopod. The 5-sections lock individually by turning each section into place and maintains the same ball head that is used with the tripod. Meanwhile the weight capacity is 11.2 lb, which makes the monopod suitable for sports or bird photography.
