Product description With 16 hot-swappable drive bays (2 per node), the 5038MR-H8TRF 16-Bay MicroCloud SuperServer from Supermicro is designed to handle a wide variety of business storage needs. Each drive bay features dual RJ-45 GbE LAN ports along with a dedicated IPMI LAN port and KVM port.
Inside the 16-Bay SuperServer you will find an Intel Xeon E5-2600 processor supporting up to 22 cores and 55MB of cache memory. In addition to enhanced processing power, this server comes equipped with four 288-pin DDR4 DIMM slots and an Intel C612 Chipset. You will find two Intel i350 Gigabit LAN ports per node along with two SATA 3.0 ports, a single VGA, COM, and two USB 2.0 ports assigned to each node. The server chassis occupies 3 RU of rackmount space making it an ideal server solution for large rackmount configurations. - Single socket R3 (LGA 2011) supports Intel Xeon processor E5-2600 v4 / v3 & E5-1600 v4 / v3 family
- 2 x 3.5" Hot-swap SATA3/SAS drive bays by default; or 2 x 2.5" SATA3 HDD Bays w/ optional kits (SAS requires RAID/HBA AOC)
