Product description The CoreStation Biometric Access Controller from Suprema provides centralized biometric access control and is designed for enterprise-level systems. This device can handle information from up to 500,000 users. It supports RFID smart cards, fingerprint readers, locks, sensors, RTE, and alarm devices.
Interfaces on this controller include five RS-485 ports, four relays, four Wiegand connections, a 100M Ethernet port, eight supervised inputs (TTL input selectable), eight TTL outputs, and an auxiliary input. - Capable of delivering the full features of the BioStar 2 platform
- AES-256 encryption and secure communication via TLS 1.2
- Centralized secure storage of biometric and access group data
- No Ethernet connection to edge devices
- No data is stored on edge devices
- Matching speed of up to 400,000 fingerprints per second
- Supports up to 5,000,000 text logs
- Simultaneous matching speed of up to eight devices in one second
- Third-party Wiegand reader
- Leverages existing wiring
- Auxiliary input (AC power failure or tamper)
- Eight supervised inputs (TTL selectable)
- Elevator control with OM-120 (available separately)
- Supports up to 132 access points with the DM-20 and Secure I/O 2 (available separately, 132 Wiegand readers / 64 RS-485 readers)
