Product description The Minnetonka AudioTools Loudness Control for Harmonic ProMedia Carbon is a software plug-in package for the file-based ProMedia Carbon transcoding software. The package consists of two independently licensed tools for measuring and adjusting loudness in full compliance with industry standards.
The AudioTools Loudness Measurement for Harmonic ProMedia Carbon module allows you to measure program loudness, loudness range, maximum true peak level, average loudness ITU, momentary loudness, and short term loudness. You can measure mono, stereo, and multichannel PCM configurations. The loudness measurements can be reported on 1 second intervals throughout the file and also formatted into XML as a log file. The measurement module supports ITU-R BS.1770 (including the new ITU-R BS.1770-2) and EBU R 128 (including the new EBU R 128 (2011) standards in accordance with the Commercial Advertisement Loudness Mitigation (CALM) ACT and ATSC's Recommended Practice A/85:2009: Techniques for Establishing and Maintaining Audio Loudness for Digital Television.
The AudioTools Loudness Adjustment for Harmonic ProMedia Carbon applies processing to your audio to reach target program loudness (EBU or ITU), target loudness range values, or true peak loudness. The module can operate on mono, stereo, and multichannel PCM configurations in full compliance with EBU R 128 A/85 and other international industry loudness standards. Table of Contents
