Product description Designed and purpose-built to withstand the rigors and recoil of heavy and crew-served weapons, SureFire's HellFighter 5 WeaponLight and Searchlight utilizes a filament-free High Intensity Discharge (HID) lamp that is virtually immune to failure from recoil, vibration, or impacts to produce 4,500 darkness piercing lumens of blinding light. Complementing the HID lamp is a finely polished mirror-finish reflector that produces a wide cone of peripheral light to maintain situational awareness and enhanced patrol or search efficiency. The light is equipped with an internal rechargeable Li-ion battery that gives it a runtime of up to 80 minutes. Specialized circuitry digitally regulates the output to maintain consistent beam intensity throughout battery charge. The battery, coupled with an integrated lockable carrying handle, allows the HellFighter to pull double-duty as a powerful search & rescue tool. Three other power sources can be used, including drawing power from a 12 VDC car/vehicle plug using the included adapter.The output is controlled via a rear-facing pushbutton switch and offers both momentary and constant-on modes. An integrated saddle enables the light to be installed on conventional T-rails, while optional adapters and remote activation switches provide a variety of options for mounting it on a multitude of platforms including the ubiquitous Picatinny/Weaver rail. The HellFighter is made of an aluminum alloy with a corrosion and scratch-resistant Mil-Spec Type III hard-coat anodized finish, and is O-ring and gasket sealed to be waterproof and submersible to 3.3'. Supporting its role as a dependable and indispensable tool in extreme situations, the reflector, lamp, and rechargeable battery unit are all field-replaceable. - Performance
