Amplifier Designed for Enhanced Output, DSP, and Power Management

Discrete MOSFETs with Class D Amplification with the Sledge STA-1200D Amplifier
• The efficiency of Class D amplification is combined with the augmented current of the discrete 32A 600V MOSFETs to help enable lower EMI, high efficiency, immense low frequency output, and precise driver control for enhanced performance at nearly all drive levels.

50 MHz Analog Devices DSP
• The digital processor is designed to maintain accuracy and sound quality through in-room tuning, enhanced frequency response curves, DSP controls, and more.
  • Room Gain – Tailors the roll-off slope to the acoustics of the room for enhanced frequency response accuracy and deep in-room extension without the "boominess" commonly associated with room gain.
  • Advanced Limiting – Allows the amplifier to deliver its maximum power and maximize on the driver's potential with high output and virtually no distortion.

Active Power Factor Correction (PFC)
• Active PFC serves as a line conditioner, surge suppressor, and voltage regulator, letting the amplifier handle wide voltage fluctuations and helping to ensure that the subwoofer operates flawlessly on nearly any household circuit, regardless of incoming current instability. An isolated circuit creates a low noise floor by virtually eliminating the potential for ground loop hums from outside components for enhances sonic transparency. It lowers the average current and smooths the power input current, allowing for a 1200W output from a traditional 15A power outlet.

Driver Features

Dual Ferrite Magnet Motor Assembly
• The motor assembly is designed to generate immense magnetic force and excursion of the 13.5" driver to produce massive low frequency output below the typical limits of human hearing.

Edge-Wound Voice Coil
• The edge-would voice coil features an eight-layer aluminum flat wire to help minimize distortion and power compression while augmenting heat dissipation, linearity, and overall driver control.

Lightweight, Rigid Composite Cone
• The cone features a lightweight, rigid design with a glass fiber dustcap for enhanced output with accurate frequency response.

Injection-Molded Gasket and Long-Throw Parabolic Surround
• The injection-molded gasket and long-throw parabolic SBR surround are engineered to help ensure proper pistonic motion and longevity for enhanced accuracy & control, and higher excursion & SPLs.

High-Density, FEA-Optimized, Cast-Aluminum Basket
• The FEA-optimized, cast-aluminum basket is designed to provide enhanced levels of rigidity, tensile strength, and energy transference.

Copper and Nomex Composite Leads
• Dual 24-strand copper and Nomex composite high-temperature leads woven through the suspension help provide an enhanced electrical connection from the amplifier to the voice coil.

Narrow-Tolerance Suspension Materials
• Machined motor elements and narrow-tolerance suspension parts help produce augmented linearity at full excursion for a tight and fast output, even at high volumes.

Oversized Low-Carbon Steel U-Yoke
• The oversized low-carbon vented steel U-yoke and top plate are engineered to provide superior cooling and improved magnetics for enhanced performance and efficiency.

Copper Ring Shorting Sleeve
• The copper ring shorting sleeve is designed to reduce gap induction and distortion, enhancing thermal conductivity.

Acoustically Inert, Rigidly Braced Cabinet Design

2" MDF Front Baffle and Internal Bracing
• The 2"-thick MDF front baffle and rigid internal bracing are designed to support the drive unit and help ensure an acoustically inert environment for the driver.

Reinforced Internal Design
• The reinforced internal design and acoustic insulation are engineered to eliminate all coloration or resonance from the cabinet, even when outputting the deepest low frequencies at high volumes.

Bluetooth Connectivity
• Compatible with iOS and Android devices, the app connects via Bluetooth for convenient control, even when the subwoofer is placed out of sight. Adjust the low pass filter, phase, polarity, custom presets, system settings, and more.

Parametric EQ Controller
• The three-band parametric EQ controller allows precise adjustments for frequency slope and Q-factor down to the single Hz level with four different slopes, so you can enhance performance by eliminating peaks, nulls, and other room issues.

Real-Time Feedback
• Two-way feedback shows updates in real time on both the app and the subwoofer interface.
