Product description Enhance the dialogue of your favorite movies and TV shows with the piano gloss black veneer SVS Ultra Center Three-Way Center Channel Speaker. It is designed to handle complex and dialogue-intensive scenes with realism, room-filling presence, augmented vocal reproduction, and dialogue intelligibility. The non-parallel cabinet panels help reduce standing waves within the cabinet, effectively eliminating frequency response coloration. The wedge-shaped front baffle and flush-mounted drivers reduce edge diffraction and enhance on-axis high frequency response. Its grille design is FEA-optimized to maximize acoustic transparency. This speaker features two pairs of gold-plated, 5-way binding posts, a cloth grille with pin/cup retention system, and elastomer stick-on bumper feet. The two pairs of binding posts allow you to bi-wire and bi-amp this speaker.
The Ultra Center driver array sports a 1" aluminum dome tweeter, 4" midrange driver, and dual 6.5" woofers, plus two 1.7" rear-firing bass ports for additional bass. The vertically aligned tweeter and midrange helps improve horizontal axis polar response, with reduced lobing and comb filtering for a smooth frequency response and augmented dialogue intelligibility at most listening positions. - 1" Aluminum Dome Tweeter
