Product description A wireless chime alert system designed to match any decor, the Swann Home & Business Alert Alarm is very simple to install and is suitable for your home or office. Featuring two motion sensor units and a corresponding indoor chime speaker unit, it's designed to notify you of any people, pets, or vehicles that approach within 20 ft of the sensor units. Mount the sensor units in traffic areas such as driveways, garages, back yards, front porches, lobbies, and reception areas, and keep the speaker unit mounted on a wall or freestanding indoors.
Select from 16 chimes and set the volume at low, medium, or high. The system also includes a doorbell unit for visitors to ring, which also links up to the speaker unit. Via flashing indicators on the front, the speaker unit additionally lets you know which traffic area is triggered. You can also use this system as a deterrent for unwanted visitors by setting the volume to high so they know they've been detected. The wireless range between units is 200 ft, ideal for average sized homes and offices.
The wireless aspect of the system makes it very easy to install by yourself. Just mount the sensor units via included mounting screws, and the doorbell unit with an included double-sided adhesive tape. The speaker unit can be wall mounted but it can also be kept on your desktop as well as moved from room to room. All the units are battery operated, and a CR2032 battery is included for the doorbell unit. The sensor units run on a 9V battery each, not included, and the speaker unit runs on three AA batteries, also sold separately. Note: The sensor units are weatherproof but not waterproof, so if you plan on installing them in outdoor traffic areas, such as driveways, they should be mounted in covered areas, such as under awnings. The doorbell unit is neither waterproof nor weatherproof, so it must be installed in a sheltered location. - Key Features
