- SWAROVSKI OPTIK - dS rifle scope: Sighting in and app configuration
The Swarovski Optik 5-25x52 dS P L Digital Riflescope takes all the guesswork out of shooting to greatly improve your accuracy—whether you're shooting from medium to extreme long range.Packed into a conventional form factor, the scope features a wide zoom range and an oversized objective that allows you to use it for large and small game, in all light conditions, and keeps views bright and clear even when targeting small game at long ranges. It comes with the full complement of optical coatings to maximize light transmission and keep the lenses clear and clean.Beyond the optical performance you'd expect from a Swarovski riflescope, the dS is packed with a suite of electronics and tools to get you on-target, starting with integrated laser rangefinder and inclinometer. These measure the distance and relative angle from you to your target and, using low-power consumption Bluetooth connectivity, transmits that data to your smartphone running a companion app for iOS or Android devices. The app takes the distance and angle transmitted from the scope and adds information you've entered—such as your rifle and ammunition load, altitude, air pressure, wind speed, and temperature—and calculates an adjusted aiming point, which it transmits back to the scope. With this new aiming point determined, the illuminated aiming point on the reticle is moved to appropriate position. Now, all you need to do is put the dot on your target and squeeze. At no point do you need to manually adjust your turrets, so your rifle remains properly zeroed at all times.Protecting the optics and electronics is a large 40mm aluminum maintube and housing that is treated with a scratch-resistant anodized finish. The scope is nitrogen filled and O-ring sealed to be waterproof and submersible to 13 feet and resistant to internal fogging even in extreme conditions and temperatures. Front objective filter threads allow you to install polarizing or specialty filters to further improve performance, while the included clear lens caps give you another level of protection with the ability to use the scope with them on. The illuminated reticle, rangefinder, inclinometer, and Bluetooth are powered by a single included CR123 battery. - Optical Performance

- Designed for accuracy without obstructing view or target, even at long ranges
- Thick outer posts on horizontal and lower vertical axes draw the eye toward the center
- Thin hairs in center and upper vertical axes won't obstruct small targets
- Second focal plane placement maintains the reticle size through the zoom range
- Red illuminated aiming dot; placement changes based on calculations transmitted from app
- Illuminated aiming circle around center dot indicates when a measurement has been activated
- Reticle can be used with illumination turned off, but adjusted aiming point will not be displayed
