Product description Perfect for classroom settings, the Swift M2250 Series microscopes are both durable and cost-effective solutions for your needs. There are lots of features here which essentially "studentproof" the units from tampering or theft, such as locked-on parts and a slip clutch which helps avoid gear damage. The M2251C is the cordless model with LED illumination. Did we mention that it doesn't have any cords?!? No need to search for outlets, no tiring lessons on proper cord storage, no ...well, you get the idea. A single charge of the included AA rechargeable battery pack, which takes about eight hours, yields up to 50 hours of continuous use. You'll get about 500 charges out of the battery before needing to replace it; that's about 2500 hours of schooling! - Dual-stage coarse/fine focusing
