The Swingline Stack-and-Shred Auto Feed 500X shredder is a very efficient, automatic shredder designed to make document shredding simple in shared space offices. Simply load up to 500 legal or letter sized sheets of paper in the oversized paper chamber and leave the Stack-and-Shred 500X shredder to get on with the job; it can continuously shred up to 500 sheets in 15 minutes, saving you a lot of valuable time. Intelligent Auto+ Jam Clearance ensures trouble-free shredding performance. A manual feed slot is also included for shredding up to 10 sheets. A separate entry slot allows you to also shred DVDs, CDs. Shred credit cards by manually placing them between the rollers. The Auto+ 500X is a Level P-4 security shredder that shreds paper into unreadable super cross-cut sized particles (sized 3/16 x 1-1/2) making it ideal for sensitive and confidential data. The lockable chamber requires a 4-digit programmable PIN to unlock so that your confidential and valuable information cannot be accessed by others during the shredding process. A 21-gallon wire frame bin with viewing window holds up to 850 sheets of shredded paper which means you have to empty it less often. The bin can be lined with plastic or recyclable paper bags to keep your work area neat and clean. Status symbol indicators, including a bin full indicator, alert users of shredder functions. The 500X practically takes care of itself with Intelligent SelfOil™ (16 oz. reservoir), Intelligent Self-cleaning Cutters, and Intelligent Power Save features.
