Product description The SWIT S-8U95 Camcorder Battery for BP-U Series is compatible with Sony's PMW-EX1/EX3/F3/100/200/300, PXW-X160/180/200, PXW-FS7/FS5/, and PXW-Z190/Z280 cameras. This 14.4-volt battery packs 98Wh into a compact form with a 4.4Ah capacity. It supports a total draw of 50W at 3.5A and it is capable of sustaining a 50W draw via the battery pins or D-Tap accessory port. The built-in USB port delivers 5 volts with a 5W, 1A draw suitable for charging your smartphone.
The battery communicates and exchanges data with your camera, enabling the camera to display the remaining battery life in the viewfinder. Built into the battery is a four LED battery gauge with a "Check" button that you press to display the remaining charge capacity. The battery can be charged via the D-Tap port, SWIT Dual channel charger, or Sony's BC-U1 charger. - Following the form and pin configuration of the Sony BP-U series, the S-8U65 is a suitable replacement for the Sony BPU-60.
- It features flexible charging options of D-Tap and dedicated BP-U series chargers (not included).
- You can charge the battery using the Sony BC-U1 single bay charger or the SWIT S-3602U, and it takes under three hours to reach full charge.
- D-Tap charging requires SWIT's S-3010B portable D-Tap charger, and it takes three hours for a complete charge.
- You can charge your smartphone or other mobile device via the USB port, just connect your device the battery's USB port and press the "Check" button to start charging your device.
