Product description The Synology FXC17 SAS Expansion Card is installed inside your FlashStation FS3017 so that the NAS solution can connect to optional Synology RX1217sas and RX2417sas storage expansion units. The expansion card supports up to two expansion units and sports one miniSAS port, which delivers data at a rate of up to 12 Gb/s. For installation, it occupies the FlashStation FS3017's PCIe 3.0 x8 slot.
