Product description With Wi-Fi data transfer rates of up to 2.53 Gbps and built-in MIMO technology, the RT2600AC AC-2600 Wireless Dual-Band Gigabit Router from Synology can support multiple data streams simultaneously. Multiple data pathways to the network offer devices like streaming media players, game consoles, smart TVs, tablets, and more their own dedicated connection to the network which greatly reduces lag.
The RT2600AC operates on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies and supports the 802.11ac Wi-Fi network standard to ensure users receive optimal network performance. In addition to enhanced performance standards, this router offers improved reception and range as it comes equipped with four omni-directional high-gain dipole antennas.
If a wired connection is required, the RT2600AC Router comes equipped with four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, and a single Gigabit Ethernet WAN port complete with Smart WAN failover support offering network redundancy should one connection fail. Additionally, this Synology router features USB connectivity along with an SD card reader making it possible to provide a variety of storage options to users throughout the network as well as cloud storage capabilities to users connected through the Synology DS Cloud application or the Synology Cloud Station Suite. - VPN Plus
