Product description The P3DC from Takamine is a Pro Series 3 cutaway dreadnought acoustic/electric guitar that features a solid cedar top, solid sapele back and sides, a mahogany neck, and a smooth, natural satin finish. Hand-scalloped X-bracing provides solid construction and a warm tone with a smooth response, while ivory binding with dark purfling, and a gorgeous concentric-ring rosette accent the guitar's elegant style. A Venetian cutaway offers optimum access to the upper registers. The guitar's mahogany neck is fitted with a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard and includes decorative wood "dot-in-dot" inlays, and to ensure the instrument stays in tune, a set of gold tuners with amber buttons is installed on the headstock. A split-saddle bone bridge provides faultless intonation and enhances acoustic coupling to the cedar top. For electronics, the P3DC includes an onboard CT4B II preamp system paired with a Palathetic undersaddle pickup for first-class amplified response and a natural acoustic tone. In addition, the preamp system has a three-band EQ, volume control, and a built-in tuner, giving the player better control of the guitar's tone in a live environment.
