Product description The 5.5 x 14" S.P.L Series LMP1455SMP Classic Maple Snare Drum from TAMA features an 8-ply/7mm maple shell which produces a classic open tone with bright attack, full-bodied resonance, and plenty of projecting power, well-suited for rock, jazz, and blues styles. The LMP1455SMP is equipped with Sound Arc hoops designed to enhance the natural tone of the drum while offering precise tuning and control. The 20 snare wires are made of high-carbon steel which gives them a sensitive response whether playing softly or hitting with power. The S.P.L Series classic maple snare drum comes with a durable antique maple finish and chrome hardware. - 5.5 x 14", 8-ply/7mm shell made of 100% maple wood produces a resonant and open tone with excellent sound projection
