Product description The 6 x 14" Soundworks DKP146 Kapur Snare Drum from TAMA features a 6-ply, 6mm kapur shell, 10-hole/2.3mm Sound Arc hoops, and comes with Evans heads. Kapur wood produces a vintage-type dry sound with plenty of low-end warmth, making this snare drum mic-friendly for a wide range of musical applications. The DKP146 is equipped with inward-curved steel Sound Arc hoops designed to enhance the natural tone of the snare drum while offering sensitivity, precise tuning, and control. Subtle tuning adjustments are made easy with the silk-smooth tension rods which let you dial in just the right amount of tension for the desired tone. The Soundworks DKP146 comes with a matte-brown kapur finish which blends in with an array of drum set finishes. - 6-ply/6mm shell made of heavy and hard kapur wood – produces a fat, dry, warm, and well-balanced sound suitable for various genres of music
