Product description The Anansi from Tamrac is a versatile, multi-purpose bean bag designed to support camera lenses, stabilize tripods, or weigh down light stands. Almost any job which requires a bean bag or ballast bag can be fulfilled with the Anansi.
Featuring an hourglass shape which splits in the middle, the Anansi can be used on a flat surface, folded over, draped on tripod leg, or light stand base. As it ships empty, the user is given free choice to fill the bag with any material they deem necessary. Soft or hard, light or heavy, organic material, and beads are all fair game.
From a technical point of view, the bag has been designed to withstand heavy loads and the rigors of field use. It features a Cordura construction with a non-slip base for added traction on any surface. The seams of the bag have also been double stitched and each handle and strap has been reinforced for extra durability. Inside, a hook-and-loop divider controls the flow of fill from one side of the bag to the other and YKK zippers open the bag for filling or emptying the inner compartment.
