For the tripod to reach a maximum height of 64", simply flip the locks open, extend the legs, and pull up the rapid center column. To carry or store the 2.4 lb tripod, it can collapse down to 22". The ball head can tilt to a vertical 90° and rotate a full 360°. Also, the locking lever keeps the quick release plate in place, and just under the ball head, a compass and a bubble level are located on the tripod's apex.
