Product description The Tascam MZ-223 is an industrial-grade multi-channel, multi-zone mixer well suited for small format install applications such as moderate-sized hotels, restaurants, meeting rooms, schools, houses of worship, or any situation that demands independently routed audio. Source content can include music, spoken word (microphone), phonograph, and more and are easily controlled via familiar sliders and assignment controls on the front panel. The MZ-223 allows multiple audio sources to be mixed, segregated, and routed to three independent main outputs. The rear panel offers five input channels with 10 sets of RCA stereo pairs for connecting a variety of equipment. Channels 1 and 2 also offer a switchable phono preamp for connecting turntables. Each of the three outputs offers a pair of balanced XLR and a pair of unbalanced RCA connectors. Additionally, the monitor output is offered on a pair unbalanced RCA connectors. The front panel features five volume sliders for each of the line input channels. Each channel also offers A/B source select and output select buttons. There are three dedicated main outputs with dedicated volume control and 3-band EQ. The two microphone inputs offer combo XLR-1/4" inputs with dedicated output selectors, volume controls, and a 3-band EQ for each channel. Additionally, there is a "talkover" function, which ducks the music when the microphone is being used. The Tascam MZ-232 ships with a power supply. -
