Product description The SS-R100 Solid State Digital Audio Recorder from Tascam provides versatile and stable audio recording, ideal for broadcasting and contract applications. The slim rackmount chassis can fit into any standard 19" equipment rack for easy installation. The recorder can record audio as WAV or MP3 files to meet a variety of needs. Files can be stored on Compact Flash, SD/SDHC, or USB memory for ultimate convenience.
The rear panel offers stereo analog RCA inputs and outputs, as well as digital RCA I/O connectors, allowing you to connect a variety of audio sources to the recorder. The SS-R100 offers multiple playback modes including continuous, single, programmed, and random. You can even adjust the playback speed without changing the pitch.
A computer keyboard can be connected via PS/2 or USB for editing file names, transport control, and flash start. There is also an RS-23C/Parallel control jack, which supports the optional RC-20 direct play remote control.
