Product description The B&H Binocular Buying Guide Read More Powerful, versatile, and rugged, the blue Tasco 10x42 Off-Shore Binocular is an ideal companion for any outdoor adventure in most weather conditions. The high magnification brings distant objects up-close to make detailed observations, while its wide apparent angle of view helps to offset the appearance of visible hand-shake often associated with high-power optics. Its respectably-sized objectives and multi-coated optics boost the light-gathering ability of the binocular so it can be used from dawn to dusk, and limits the glare typically found when glassing on or near the water. Other features such as a traditional Porro prism optical path, long eye relief, and wide exit pupil provide users with an immersive observational experience.The binocular is wrapped in a textured rubber armor that protects it from impacts and drops, but provides a slip-resistant grip in cold or wet conditions. To withstand rain or water spray, the optical tubes are nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed to be waterproof and resistant to internal fogging when moving through extreme temperature changes.
