Product description Designed for beginner stargazers, the Novice 60mm f/13 AZ Refractor Telescope from Tasco will introduce viewers to astronomy by giving them a complete setup for viewing the Moon, planets, and meteor showers.It comes with two eyepieces that provide low 40x and high 100x magnifications, with a neutral density moon filter that enhances the view of our nearest celestial neighbor and improves contrast and clarity, while offering protection for your eye when the moonlight is very bright. The included 90° diagonal puts your head in a comfortable viewing position, especially when the scope is aimed high overhead. An adjustable-height aluminum tripod provides a stable platform while being able to accommodate viewers of all sizes or if you are standing or sitting for observing. An altitude locking bar on the mount prevents the scope from accidentally moving during observations or when panning left to right. An integrated dew-shield helps to prevent condensation on the outside objective lens, while blocking stray peripheral light from interfering with celestial observations. - Optical Performance
