Product description The white 2.85mm t-glase Filament from taulman3D is a strong, industrial 3D printing filament that has a printable temperature range of 405 to 491°F, although its optimum temperature is 455 to 464°F, a tensile stress of 4650 psi, an ultimate elongation of 9.9%, and a modulus of 80,801 psi. It also features low shrinkage of 0.0029. Furthermore, while it is not biodegradable like PLA, it is a reclaimable filament, so extruders that convert failed prints back to usable filament will work well with t-glase. General Features - Temperature
- Optimum temperature is about 455 to 464°F, but it will print from 405 to 491°F.
- Environmental
- While t-glase is not biodegradable like PLA, it is a material that's considered 100% reclaimable. Thus, extruders that convert failed prints back to usable filament work well with t-glase. If you have a compatible extruder, you can actually mix in 12% of the total weight with discarded clear water bottles.
- Shrinkage
- Very low shrinkage helps make printing large flat surfaces more user-friendly.
- Bridging
- Those of us who have printed with acrylics and polycarbonates are always envious of their bridging capabilities due to their glass temperature. t-glase works well with bridging.
- Fumes
- There are no odors or fumes when 3D printing with t-glase.
