Product description Add the TC Electronic DVR250-DT to your arsenal to marry the power of in-the-box reverb with the tactile functionality and beloved personality of a hardware reverb classic. Indeed, the DVR250-DT is based on the EMT 250 Electronic Reverberator, deriving its algorithm from the classic System 6000 found in many mastering rigs around the world. With this reverb, you can control the lauded tone of the System 6000's verb using a dedicated, four-lever hardware controller. The operations of the levers change depending on the reverb you've selected in the software. Connections to your computer are made via the included USB cable, and the hardware is bus-powered over USB. The software portion of the verb operates as a plug-in, one compatible with your DAW. Once the hardware connections have been made, you can use the plug-in as insert or return effect on as many tracks as you wish. The plug-in operates in AAX, AU, and VST formats, and is compatible with Mac and Windows computers. - A Long-Respected Lineage
- Introduced in 1976, the original EMT 250 is an iconic reverb for everything from lead vocals to synths, drum hits, and percussion. This is a faithful emulation originally found in the System 6000.
- Not Just a Reverb
- In addition to the silver-toned reverbs, you can push, pull, and tap your way to a range of smooth effects including echo, delay, chorus, phasing, and space effects.
- Record-Ready Presets
- The DVR250-DT comes with signature presets created by respected producers and engineers. These presets have been designed to push the sound and character of the DVR250-DT to its full potential.
- Synergy in the Studio
- As all the processing is handled inside your DAW, you can load as many instances as you need. Plugged directly into your USB port, the DVR250-DT's hardware controller lets you intuitively harness the details of your effects, giving you synergy between software and hardware aspects.
- Metering and More
- The DVR250-DT provides high-resolution input and output meters for accurate signal monitoring directly on the controller. Hands-on controls let you tune all the tone-defining parameters, such as pre-delay, decay, dampening, and much more.
- Ready for Your DAW
- DVR250-DT is a good addition to any console, mixing desk, or bedroom recording station, and supports all modern plug-in standards. This lets you make full use of DAW automation and project recall, and gives you the freedom to work with any audio software you prefer.
