Product description Designed for electric guitar players in the metal genres, the TC Electronic FANGS Metal Distortion is a distortion pedal that provides heaps of gain for thick, searing riffs. This pedal can be used for tight, chugging rhythm parts, or screaming leads alike.
Four knobs are provided for controlling the pedal: Gain, Volume, Bass, and Treble. Gain controls the amount of distortion, while Volume dictates your overall output level. Bass and Treble shape your low and high end respectively. You change the timbre of the midrange by means of a three-position toggle switch.
FANGS can be powered with a 9V battery or a 9V DC 100mA power supply, both of which are available separately. The pedal utilizes all-analog circuitry and offers a true bypass footswitch, so your signal remains pristine and unaffected when the pedal is disengaged. The FANGS also sports a rugged metal frame, so it can stand up to the rigors of the road. - Controls Explained
