Product description The TC Electronic GRAND MAGUS is a pedal that provides a distortion evocative of tube-driven amplifiers. It's intended for use with electric guitars. The pedal offers a tone with tight bottom end, rich midrange, and smooth highs. In this way, it emulates an amplifier's power supply sag, which contributes to the classic, recognizable distortion that the GRAND MAGUS models itself after. Three knobs are on hand for controlling the effect. Gain controls the amount of saturation and distortion, while Volume dictates your overall output level. Tone affects the high-end, allowing you to filter some of it out if your sound is too harsh. Through these controls, you can achieve a wide array of distorted tones. The GRAND MAGUS can be powered with a 9V battery or a PSU-SB DC power supply, both of which are available separately. The pedal utilizes all-analog circuitry and offers a true bypass footswitch, so that your signal remains pristine and unaffected when the pedal is disengaged. The GRAND MAGUS also sports a rugged metal frame, so it can stand up to the rigors of the road. - Key Features at a Glance
