Product description Part of the TELEPORT Active Guitar Signal Long Cable Run System, the TC Electronic TELEPORT GLR receives an XLR input from a corresponding TELEPORT GLT and converts the signal back into a 1/4" unbalanced signal. From its output, the GLR can make connections a guitar amp or other piece of guitar-related gear.When paired with the GLT, the TELEPORT system gives you the ability to run cable lengths of up to 300’ without signal degradation. This makes the system useful for preserving sonic integrity across large stages, where ropes of unbalanced 1/4" cable can quickly suck the life out of your guitar’s tone and introduce radio-frequency interference.The GLR boasts a high-headroom, low noise design. Thanks to its rugged, transformer-isolated design, this extruded aluminum box buffers the signal, facilitates a balanced cable run, and converts impedance back to a load suitable for guitar gear without any guesswork on your part.
