Product description Part of the TELEPORT Active Guitar Signal Long Cable Run System, the TC Electronic TELEPORT GLT converts a guitar’s output to a balanced, low-impedance signal, which is better suited for long cable runs. The box itself takes your 1/4" input and converts it to an XLR connection, giving you the ability to use up 300’ of cable with no signal degradation before reaching the endpoint in the corresponding GLR. This makes the unit quite suitable for preserving sonic integrity across large stages, where ropes of unbalanced 1/4" cable can quickly suck the life out of your guitar’s tone and introduce radio-frequency interference. The GLT boasts a high-headroom design and sports a variable pickup load compensator. This adjustable impedance selector lets you dial in the appropriate match for your chosen guitar. Thanks to its rugged, transformer-isolated design, this extruded-aluminum box buffers the signal, offers a balanced cable run, and matched impedance without any guesswork on your part. The XLR jacks are supplied by Neutrik, lending even more quality to the design. This part of the TELEPORT system relies on a 12 VDC power supply, which is included with the device. - Key Features at a Glance
