Product description The IRV-3435/CS4 VoiceLink Plus Infrared Wireless Classroom Microphone System from TeachLogic is a sound field system for classroom presentation. The system consists of an IMA-100 Amplifier/Receiver Base Station, one IRH-35 Handheld Microphone Transmitter with Duracell NiMH battery, an ICS-55 Ceiling Sensor with 50' plenum rated cable for IR connectivity throughout the room, and four SP-628 Ceiling-Mount Speakers. It also includes a BRC-101 Drop-In Charger for the handheld transmitter. The VoiceLink Plus base station features a 1-channel infrared receiver and two 10W amplifiers. The receiver's auxiliary line input provides multimedia integration via computers or DVD/iPod units to supplement the instructional program. The handheld microphone enables voice transmission to the ICS-55 Ceiling Sensor that sends the signal to the base station. The microphone features an on/off switch, LED battery level indicator, and 10 IR emitting diodes. It is enclosed in a metal housing that ensures low handling noise and durability. The dome sensor provides 360° coverage and minimizes the transmission distance for more reliable performance when mounted in the center of the ceiling. It collects the infrared transmission signal via 6 detecting diodes. The signal is then sent via the included 50' plenum-rated cable, terminated with RCA connectors, to the receiver input of the IMA-100 VoiceLink Plus Amplifier/Receiver Base Station, where it is detected and then processed through the power amplifier and output to the four included SP-628 Ceiling Speakers. The receiver/amplifier supplies the power to the sensor. - IMA-100 Voicelink Plus 1-Channel Infrared Microphone Receiver/Amplifier with Power Supply The IMA-100 Voicelink Plus 1-Channel Infrared Microphone Receiver/Amplifier with Power Supply from TeachLogic features a 1-channel infrared receiver and two 10W amplifiers to power two or four speakers (sold separately). This receiver/amplifier is a part of the Voicelink Plus Wireless Classroom Microphone System, which also consists of a microphone/transmitter and ceiling sensor. The ceiling sensor (sold separately) senses the infrared signal emitted from the microphone/transmitter (sold separately) and sends the voice signal to the receiver. The receiver processes the signal and produces an analog signal which is fed to the power amplifier. The output of the amplifier is fed to the speakers. The receiver can also accept an input from another audio source such as an iPod, computer, DVD, or video projector via the auxiliary input on the front panel. The receiver/amplifier can be placed on desk top, mounted on the wall, or on top or under a shelf using the mounting flanges and hardware provided.
- 1-channel infrared receiver
- One 4-pin Phoenix speaker out connector
- One line level auxiliary input on the front panel with adjustable gain, 3.5mm input jack
- Includes mounting brackets
- Infrared Dome Sensor TeachLogic's Infrared Dome Sensor needs to be installed on the ceiling at least 3' from the video projector. It comes with a mounting/support bracket and 50' of plenum rated cable with RCA connector on each end. The ideal location for the dome sensor would be in the center of the ceiling. This will provide a clear signal path for the IR transmission from the transmitter to the dome sensor without obstruction. In addition, you will have 360° coverage and will minimize the transmission distance for more reliable performance. It collects the infrared transmission signal via 6 large detecting diodes. The sensor is connected to the mixer/amplifier via a plenum rated cable terminated with RCA connectors. The mixer/amplifier supplies the power to the sensor.
- Easily installs on ceiling "T" bar with track bracket
- 6 large receiving diodes for infrared reception
- Handheld Infrared Transmitter/Microphone with NiMH Batteries (Channel A and B) TeachLogic's Handheld Infrared Transmitter/Microphone with NiMH Batteries (Channel A and B) has an ergonomic design that provides user comfort and very low handling noise. The unidirectional condenser reproduces excellent vocal quality and the windscreen prevents breath pops. The emitting diodes are located around the top and bottom end of the handle for 360° transmission and assured connectivity throughout the classroom. Two rechargeable NiMH batteries are included.
- Condenser microphone element
- Battery level indicator-LED
- 10 high-power emitting diodes
- Diodes at top and bottom of handle for increased coverage (2 top aimed out, 6 bottom 360°, 2 bottom aimed down)
