Product description Intended primarily for electric-bass amplifier heads, the B112-VT from Tech 21 is a 1x12” extension cabinet capable of handling 300W RMS at 8 Ohms. It is designed as a companion piece to the company’s VT Bass 500 amp, though it is certainly compatible with other apposite amplifiers. In addition to its 12” cloth-edge bass speaker, the B112-VT sports a tweeter with a defeat switch for high-end cut.A rear-vented design extends your perception of the low-end, helping your overall rig achieve a solid bass timbre, whether on the stage or in the studio. Connections to the amplifier are achieved either through its 1/4" or speakON termination points. Metal-bar handles allow you to transport the 34.2 lb which comprise this cabinet, making the speaker suitable for rehearsals, recording sessions, and live shows. - General Features at a Glance
