Product description The WFM4000 Multi-Format Portable Waveform Monitor from Tektronix provide a basic video and audio monitoring solution with an integrated LCD high-brightness display. This unit supports SD-SDI (ITU-R BT.601) monitoring only. Audio functionality includes (16) channels of embedded audio and (1) input for (2) channels of digital AES audio. The monitor offers CRT-like traces, patented gamut displays, picture thumbnail, display freeze, and an error log for 10,000 events for content compliance verification. Digital audio monitoring support includes audio bars, lissajous displays, and a front-panel headphone port. It can accept power from a 12VDC source, a battery, or a 100 to 240VAC converter. Possible applications for this unit include confidence monitoring of SDI video and uncompressed digital audio, compliance checking in distribution and broadcast, content QA in production and post-production work, and portable monitoring on camera and field production. The unit is housed in a 3RU half-rack width short-depth chassis to accommodate space-constrained environments. - Interface
