Product description The Telefunken 6V6-TK Black Diamond Series Vacuum Tube is ideal for use in guitar amplifiers and hi-fi equipment in homes, studios, and live stage applications. For personal enjoyment, live performance, or commercial recording, it grants a strong tone and commendable headroom. Designed as a direct replacement for a stock 6V6, this 6V6-TK beam-power tetrode tube delivers true-to-original tonal characteristics. Its low power output makes it well suited for use in small combo amps and low-wattage heads. - Newly manufactured and cryogenically treated rendition of the legendary 6V6
- Inspired by the 6V6, which was developed by RCA in 1937
- Beam-power tetrode vacuum tube popular in low-wattage amp heads and combo amplifiers
- Robust tone and great overhead
- Each tube is meticulously measured for all critical parameters of performance including transconductance, gain, noise, and microphonics
- Tubes are selected by hand, rigorously tested, subjected to an extended burn-in period for stability, and remeasured before final packing
