Product description The Telefunken CU-29 Copperhead Cardioid Tube Condenser Microphone with Flight Case is an R-F-T Series large-diaphragm tube condenser mic with a hardshell flight case designed to deliver versatility and full-range frequency reproduction of vocals and instruments for musicians, recordists, and audio engineers in home, project, and commercial recording studios. It features a 1" single-membrane, center-terminated capsule with a cardioid polar pattern. An NOS 6AK5W vacuum tube and Lundahl LL1935 output transformer contribute to the CU-29's tone, which yields low-frequency clarity and smooth, pristine highs. Its 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response and maximum SPL of 130 dB enable it to handle anything from soft vocals and delicate piano to pounding drums and blaring horns.The CU-29, its external power supply, proprietary 7-pin cable, and shockmount fit securely in the high-density foam interior of the rugged flight case, which is lockable, airtight, and waterproof up to a 3' depth. An automatic pressure equalization valve in the case ensures proper pressure at a variety of altitudes. - CU-29 Copperhead Tube Condenser Microphone The CU-29 Copperhead Tube Condenser Microphone from Telefunken is a part of their R-F-T line of coveted tube condenser microphones, and is a viable option for crucial recording of vocals and instruments.
