Product description The CU-29 Copperhead Stereo Set from Telefunken comes in a custom locking flight case that carries both sets of cables, shockmounts, microphones in wooden boxes, and a dual-channel power supply unit. The dual-channel supply can power one or both of the microphones at the same time. This upgraded power supply has a regulated design with a slow-ramping heater voltage to ensure vacuum tube longevity.The amplifier in the Copperhead Set features a 6AK5W vacuum tube, Lundahl LL1935 output transformer, and a single-membrane version of the TK67 large-diaphragm capsule used in the AK-47 MkII. This hi-fidelity microphone provides a warm, clear low end complemented by a smooth, detailed high end.Each component for the two microphones is hand-selected for matched pairs. The capsules have matched frequency responses, the tubes have matched gain and noise specs, and the amplifier circuits have matched gain and frequency response.Each CU-29 Stereo Set comes complete with an M900S dual-channel power supply, 2x M801 25' dual-shielded TX-7 tube microphone cables, 2x M700 elastic shockmounts, 2x wooden microphone boxes and a locking flight case.
