Product description The Telefunken E88CC-TK/6922 Black Diamond Series Vacuum Tube is ideal for use in microphone preamplifiers and phono stages in homes, studios, and live stage applications. For personal enjoyment or commercial recording, it grants accurate imaging and versatile, expressive dynamics. Offering medium gain and low noise, this dual triode tube delivers clean headroom and transparent tone critical to achieving sonically tight input stages. The E88CC-TK/6922 features gold-plated pins for enhanced signal integrity. - Newly manufactured and cryogenically treated to resurrect the transparent tone and harmonic impact of historical Siemens and Telefunken tubes
- Great for microphone preamplifiers, phono stages, and sonically tight audio input sections
- Also known as the 6922, the E88CC was originally targeted for test equipment and radar, but now serves audiophiles, musicians, and audio engineers
- Designed to offer precise imaging, significant dynamics, and a full-bodied soundstage
- Medium gain and low noise characteristics
- Dual-triode like the 12AX7 tube, but with a different pin configuration (not a direct plug-in replacement)
