Product description The Telefunken ECC83-TK/12AX7 Black Diamond Series Vacuum Tube is ideal for use in input and inter-stage audio amplifiers in homes, studios, and live stage applications. From stompboxes and guitar amps to compressors and microphones, 12AX7 tubes are widely used for their even-order harmonic distortion and full frequency range. Offering high gain and low noise, this dual-triode tube delivers extended headroom and balanced tone complementary to an array of musical genres. The ECC83-TK/12AX7 is characterized by its clean highs, thick midrange, and prominent bass. - Newly manufactured and cryogenically treated rendition of the classic ECC83 dual triode vacuum tube, commonly known by the American designation 12AX7
- Great for input and inter-stage audio amplifiers used in all types of music and playing styles
- Designed to allow cleaner headroom than higher gain 12AX7s when pushed into overdrive
