Product description The Telefunken EL34-TK Black Diamond Series Vacuum Tube is ideal for use in guitar amplifiers and hi-fi equipment in homes, studios, and live stage applications. For personal enjoyment or commercial recording, it grants a focused low-frequency response and smooth midrange frequencies. Supporting higher plate voltages than a 6L6 and higher grid voltages than a traditional EL34, this high-output pentode tube delivers a characteristic "British" tone. - Designed to handle a slightly higher grid voltage than a traditional EL34
- Great for guitar amplifiers and hi-fi equipment
- Smaller in diameter and taller than a 6L6, and capable of a higher plate voltage
- Commonly used in pairs in a Class-AB1 push-pull configuration
- Each tube is meticulously measured for all critical parameters of performance including transconductance, gain, noise, and microphonics
- Tubes are selected by hand, rigorously tested, subjected to an extended burn-in period for stability, and re-measured before final packing
