Product description The Telefunken EL84-TK Black Diamond Series Vacuum Tube is ideal for use in guitar amplifiers and hi-fi equipment in homes, studios, and live stage applications. For personal enjoyment or commercial recording, it grants a detailed, bell-like chime and clearly distinguished sound. In a smaller footprint than an EL34, this pentode tube delivers a characteristic "British" tone and up to 17W of output power. - Ideal replacement for any EL84/6BQ5 tube
- Thermionic valve of the power pentode type
- Great for guitar amplifiers and hi-fi equipment
- Originally designed for the output stages of audio frequency amplifiers
- Delivers up to 17W while remaining compact
- Similar to an EL34 with a lower output power
- When overdriven, EL84 power tubes contribute to a distinctive chiming and articulate sound when compared to 6L6 tubes
- Each tube is meticulously measured for all critical parameters of performance including transconductance, gain, noise, and microphonics
- Tubes are selected by hand, rigorously tested, subjected to an extended burn-in period for stability, and remeasured before final packing
