Product description The RM-325 2-Channel Intercom User Station (A4F) from Telex is a programmable 2-channel intercom user station designed to be used with an RTS-TW intercom system. The compact station can be placed on a desktop or mounted in an equipment rack with optional hardware. Each channel has its own talk button and indicator light. The buttons have dual-action momentary/latching operation to provide versatile operation. Internal DIP switches let you independently configure the talk buttons. The rear panel Aux connector also has talk switch inputs for each channel, ideal for use with a footswitch.
The station has an A4F connector that supports a dynamic microphone headset. The rear Aux connector can be used to remotely turn the mic on and off. A carbon-mic headset jack is also provided, which has an internal circuit that is activated when the carbon mic is on. An internal jumper lets you configure the carbon mic input for use as an on/off switch input. Mic audio is available as an unswitched, unbalanced output at the Aux connector.
The RM-325 has separate listen volume controls for each channel, plus a volume control for the 1/4" program input. Default operation sends channels 1 and 2 to the left and right headphones, respectively, with the program input being sent to both. You can use the internal jumpers to combined the signals for mono listening, or assign the program audio to left/right channels when using a stereo headset.
Other features of the user station include sidetone controls for each intercom channel to adjust the level of the operator's own voice in the headphones. A call button and indicator lets the unit send and receive call signals. Talk-off signals can be sent and received to kill microphones. The RM-325 is set to receive power from channel 1 of the intercom by default, though it can also be configured to receive power from channel 2 or from a local 24VDC power source attached to the Aux connector. - Designed for RTS-TW
