Product description The Telex Soundmate SMP-2 is a portable, battery operated, VHF wireless personal monitoring system, packed into a professional carrying case with a foam-padded interior. The system is notable for the ease of operation and light weight of the principal components, clarity of sound, and a 300' operating range. The Soundmate SMP-2 system consists of the PST-170 transmitter, which operates on one of 17 selectable frequencies, six single-channel, fixed frequency SR-50 portable receivers, with companion HED-2 collapsible headphones, and the HM-2 headworn microphone, which features a discreet, lightweight, behind-the-head headband. The case and 14 "AA" batteries are also part of the package.
