Product description Anatomy of a Teleprompter Read More The Portable iPad Teleprompter, Tripod & Hard Case Kit from B&H is assembled as a production ready package, just add an available iPad. The kit includes a Telemax Pro-iP EXS Teleprompter, a Magnus VT-3000 Tripod System, and for storing and transporting the teleprompter, a Porta Brace PB-2700F Hard Case. The teleprompter and tripod combination supports lightweight DSLR and camcorders weighing up to 6.6 lb, and uses an iPad or iPad2 in the place of a monitor to display the copy for the talent to read. The 70/30 beamsplitter glass enables the talent to read from the teleprompter from up to 12 ft away.
The many available teleprompting software choices available for the iPad and iPad2 allow you the flexibility to choose the teleprompting software that best fits your needs. The tripod system features three-section aluminum legs and a two-way fluid head with a 65mm diameter half-ball mount. The Telmax PRO-IP-EX Universal Tablet & Smartphone Teleprompter features a universal cradle that supports all tablets and smartphones under 10", including most iPads. An iOS-compatible Telmax teleprompting app is available as a free download; for Android devices you can use one of many apps available on Google Play.
The PRO-IP-EX features a durable metal frame, and supports a tripod on the bottom at any point along the full length of the frame, allowing you to find the best position for the weight of your camera. Most camera sizes are supported.
The beamsplitter glass has a trapezoidal design to allow better viewing of scrolling text from an angle. The glass measures 8 x 12" and has a 70/30 transmission/reflection ratio. The back of the glass housing has a 4" circular cutout that supports most lenses. - Key Features

The Magnus VT-3000 Tripod System with Fluid Head is a stable, sturdy video tripod made from anodized aluminum that can support loads up to 6.6 lb. It provides many features commonly found on more expensive models. The two-way fluid head provides smooth operation, and features a half-ball mount with a diameter of 65mm, with left and right pan bar mounts. One pan bar comes included. The VT-3000 tripod system weighs 7.75 lb.
The 3-section leg design allows you to adjust the height of the tripod from 28.6" to 61". A mid-level spreader and passive counterbalance provide improved stability. The VT-3000 has separate pan and tilt locks and a bubble level for precision leveling, and offers a full 360° pan range. The fixed counterbalance spring incorporated in the head provides smoother tilt movements. The included quick-release plate features a standard 1/4"-20 mounting screw with a video pin, and features a micro balance slider. - Supports loads up to 6.6 lb (3 kg)
