• Tether Tools TetherPro USB 2.0 Type-A to 5-Pin Mini-USB Cable (Orange, 15') The orange Tether Tools TetherPro USB 2.0 Type-A to 5-Pin Mini-USB cable is 15' long and has gold plated connectors that provide consistent and reliable conductivity as well as corrosion resistance. The ends of this cable feature a standard USB Type-A male connector and the other side is outfitted with a 5-pin mini-B male plug, which is compatible with most digital cameras.
  
  To deliver data at speeds of up to 480 Mb/s, Tether Tools has equipped this cable with USB 2.0 technology. It sports a reinforced Ferrite core that filters out signal noise and reduces transmission errors. In addition, the full-lined shielding feature protects the signal against external interference. • Tether Tools TetherPro USB 2.0 Active Extension Cable (16', Orange) The 16', orange TetherPro USB 2.0 Active Extension Cable from Tether Tools allows longer tethering distances without worrying about signal errors or corrupt data transfers. With this cable, signals and data transfers going in and out of the cable are buffered to ensure consistent signal quality, meeting USB's highest electrical and timing specifications. Passive cables over 16' (4.88 m) in length, for the purpose of data transmission, may result in signal errors or noise and are not recommended. Up to four active USB extensions and one passive 15' (4.57 m) USB can be daisy chained before any drop-off in signal or quality is detected.
  • The set-up is simple, just plug the male end of the cable into the computer and then plug your camera or other device's USB cable into the female end of this cable so the repeater is closest to the device and not the computer.
  • Drop-off in signals can be avoided by daisy chaining up to four active USB extensions and one passive 15' (4.57 m) USB together.
  • Signals and data transfers going in and out of the cable are buffered to ensure consistent signal quality, meeting USB's highest electrical and timing specifications.

• Tether Tools JerkStopper Tethering Kit (USB Port) The JerkStopper Tethering Kit (USB Port), exclusively from Tether Tools, is the complete tethered setup that secures the cables of both your camera and computer. This kit will remove all the stress and strain placed on the cable or cord to ensure that it stays plugged in and prevents cable or equipment damage. The Camera Support connects to the holder on the camera where the wrist strap would be to provide slack to cables. The patented JerkStopper cable retention device for this particular computer support model uses a spare USB port as an anchor point by allowing slack in the cord in order to prevent damage or dislodging. This kit can be used with any standard A/C power adapter cord, flash sync cord, HDMI, USB or FireWire cable. It supports cable diameters from 3.5mm to 8.5mm.
