Product description The PF8L Large 8-Sided Mini Pop Filter from The Hook Studios is designed to strap directly to your Apogee MiC, Audio-Technica AT2020, or similar side-address microphones, without the need for goosenecks or improvised attachments. It is compact, lightweight (at 1 oz), and ideal for singers or voice-over and narration professionals who need to work while traveling.The PF8L is equipped with a single moisture-resistant Acoustex screen; this stops saliva from reaching the capsule, which can be a cause of sonic degradation for any microphone. The screen is placed at a distance approximately 1 1/2 to 2" from the capsule, resulting in effective "breath-pop" resistance, while remaining acoustically transparent.Handcrafted in the USA, the PF8L also features a durable aluminum frame with black powder-coat finish and a wide, soft hook-and-loop strap. - Specifically designed for Apogee MiC, Audio Technica AT2020, AT2050, AT4033, AT4050, and similar side-address microphones that use stand clips (not suspension mounts)
- Screen provides "breath-pop" resistance while remaining acoustically transparent
