Product description The Toughpower Computer Power Supply from Thermaltake provides 1000 watts on a single +12V rail to offer stable and reliable power for all your PC components. The power distribution is handled by an Active PFC, which corrects the power factor to ensure the power supply operates at maximum efficiency. Thermaltake has equipped this power supply with a 135mm fan that spins up to 1500 rpms to provide maximum cooling or slows down for a quieter operation. To deliver reliability, Japanese capacitors are used to deliver stable operation with performance. The Thermaltake Toughpower is an ATX power supply, which includes 6 x PCI-e, 12 x SATA, 1 x ATX 12 V, 1 x 24-pin, 1 x EPS 12 V, and 8 x Molex connectors. Some of the connectors are modular such as the SATA and PCI-e cables, so you have the option of not using them to reduce clutter and improve airflow. By offering these various connections and featuring 1000 watts of power, you can utilize multiple graphics cards and the Intel Haswell CPU or other CPU processors. - 80 PLUS Gold Certified and Haswell Ready
- The Toughpower saves energy through its high energy efficiency up to 90% and is certified for 80 PLUS Gold. In addition, the Toughpower Series is designed to meet the demands of Intel's Haswell processors.
- Flat Modular Cables
- Low-profile flat modular cables used in the design enhance airflow as well as improve the thermal performance of the chassis. Flat cables are inherently more flexible, making cable routing easier.
- Japanese Capacitors
- Japanese capacitors produce performance with low impedance characteristics. This delivers stable operation over extended periods of time as well as reliability.
