Product description The Riing Silent 12 CPU Cooler from Thermaltake keeps your Intel or AMD processor operating by dissipating the heat. This cooler transfers the heat away from your processor with four copper heat pipes, which are cooled by aluminum fins and a single 120mm fan. To keep the noise level at 18 dBA, the PWM fan is built with a hydraulic bearing and spins between 500 and 1400 rpm. In addition, the fan sports a blue LED and eleven blades, which provide an air flow of 53 CFM. - Eleven Fan Blade Design
- Eleven fan blades are engineered to create a large volume of air passing through the heatsink at any angle and provide a balance between silent and performance. The Riing Silent 12 is equipped with PWM function that allows the motherboard to run the fan precisely at its necessary speed. This function ensures proper cooling and minimizes the noise level.
- Wind Blocker Frame
- To achieve maximum cooling performance in all applications, the wind blocker frame is designed to direct airflow towards the middle section of the blade, thereby creating a compression effect and blocking air from escaping. This design reduces the blade's noise and vibration, creating a balance between power and sound.
- Riing LED
- The color and brightness uniformity of the LED ring is visible from all directions and adds style to your chassis.
- Hydraulic Bearing Design
- The hydraulic bearing self-lubricates with a friction-reducing substance that reduces operating noise and improves efficiency. The seal cap prevents leakage of the lubricant and improves the lifespan of the unit.
- Silent Operation
- With a LNC (Low-Noise Cable), the Riing Silent 12 can reduce the noise level by 29% from 18.8 dBA to 13.4 dBA when running at a 50% speed.
- Heat Distribution
- The Riing Silent 12 delivers cooling performance. It keeps the temperature of an Intel Core i7-4770K processor between 86 to 91°F (ambient temperature is 68°F) while running at full loads.
- Heat Dissipation
- Optimized 0.4mm thickness aluminum fins with a 2.2mm air gap and four 6mm diameter solid copper heat pipes are designed for rapid heat dissipation, allowing maximum heat conductivity. The tower's side flow design delivers cooling performance. In addition, the heat pipes are in continuous direct contact with the CPU to ensure fast and efficient heat dissipation.
- Anti-Vibration Mounting Systems with Non-Interference Cooling
- Anti-vibration rubber pads strengthen stability during operation and provide hassle-free usage for 80% protection coverage, including all four corners. The pads also provide additional space to support high-performance memory modules.
