Product description The 6.6 x 6.6" T Series T1/2 IR Water White Glass Filter from Tiffen helps optimize the functioning of high-performance digital cameras with wide color gamut and enhanced red response like ARRI Alexa, Sony EX Series, etc. This T series filter eliminates the Far Red/Near Infrared contamination that can appear in photographs due to certain industrial dyes in fabrics. This IR filter uses ColorCore technology.
With the T1/2 IR filter in place, capturing subtle red hues is effortless. By using this IR correction filter, the camera can deliver crisp black and wide color gamut for which it was designed, with minimal light loss. This filter is also included in the Far Red Control Kit (sold separately). The T1/2 IR filter is made from optically pure water white glass, and manufactured using a lamination process that grinds and polishes both surfaces, to achieve perfect parallelism required for attaining highest possible standards, absolute consistency, and worry-free handling.
